I get this:

Code:
[54441.427526] TCP: request_sock_TCP: Possible SYN flooding on port 56190. Sending cookies.  Check SNMP counters.

Yet, there are only a few ports forwarded from my router, and that isn't one of them.

How can this happen?

More importantly, do I need to worry about this?

RayDude,

Run wireshark or something like that to find out where the packets are coming from.
Then you can fix it properly.

Your system isn't happy.
