The first night of the RNC what a disaster! But Trump Junior: A very fine speech as if he wants to become president of the USA. (OK, the first night at the DNC not was the finest either, but people there had shown some enthusiasm !)

Looks like your opinion is in the minority. Got six times more views than the Democratic (sic) convention opening night.

Watch these peaceful protestors respectfully beat the shit out of an elderly man trying to put out a fire in his own store:

Please explain why anyone should vote for a Democrat ever again. They will not denounce this fucking nightmare.

The Democrats also got Zero bump in the polls from their convention. Zero. That's unprecedented. They flopped, hard.

I'd never seen a version with as lengthy a "not going to happen" beginning.

First, never forget what Graham was and still is. Second, the last few years have taken a stunning toll on that which disrespectfully occupies the role of Speaker. Third, don't forget what happened the last time there was overconfidence leading up to an election.

Given that H. Clinton 4y ago was much better in battle ground states than Biden now is, we can only hope there is no Comey with a helping hand for Trump later this year with what the hack hacked emails. But these recent polls suggest there is in fact a Trump law of doubling down in place:

We laughed about Trump for four years. After that you laughed about how we laughed about Trump for four years. And now it seems you have a laugh another four years.

From european perspective this doubling down isn't a law but unfair.

Agenda Seeding: How 1960s Black Protests Moved Elites, Public Opinion and Voting

Quote:
Counties proximate to nonviolent protests saw presidential
Democratic vote share among whites increase 1.3-1.6%
. Protester-initiated violence, by
contrast, helped move news agendas, frames, elite discourse and public concern toward
“social control.” In 1968, using rainfall as an instrument, I find violent protests likely caused
a 1.6-7.9% shift among whites towards Republicans and tipped the election

And for the last 4 years what have the democrats been advocating and what do they now have? just in case people chose to forget a collections of soundbites over the last 4years
https://twitter.com/CaldronPool/status/1300244705649676289

How this wasn't classed as incitement (especially since this is what they got) who knows. So basically expect a 1-8% shift to republicans due to how the democrats have incited violence, and this is based upon a study from when the last time the country had a similar atmosphere ... 1960's

Its like they want Trump to stay in

To put it simply, because of the rioting, looting and violence, BLM has not gained the sympathy of anybody new, and instead they made millions of ambivalent people into racists by confirming on TV in living color and on a massive scale all the racial stereotypes we had just about relegated to the past.

Meanwhile, by yet again and so obviously provoking and abusing black Americans for their own benefit after repeatedly delivering neither hope nor change, Democrats have confirmed spectacularly their own descent into the Idiocracy of populist demagoguery and True racism, the very things they supposedly oppose, in classic doublespeak fashion.

That Pdf shows an important research!

And yes, we experienced previously how the Democrats "want to loose an election." Accusing the Democrats for power grabbing isn't a thing.

I feel it is a real vantage to live in a country with more parties in parliament: If the Socialdemocrats don't want to challenge for the lead, now there is the Green Party which for the first time in their 40y history seriously thinks about it.

A question about the U.S. party system: Isn't it especially in the interest of the midrange class of politicians, these normal representatives in Congress, to keep staying in the role of opposition? I mean, they win their seats in the midterm elections more likely as opposition, don't they?

PS - as old man I can tell:
Every movement - triggered by memes for more than one demonstration - tends to overestimate influence because participants "learn" for several times in a row that "everybody" is in line with their views. You can most probably hear something like: "We have a real revolution here!". This backfires most often for their cause.

It is obvious Joe Biden is suffering from dementia and will be unable to debate president Trump. Nancy Pelosi and other pieces of schiff democRats have come out and claimed it would be beneath Mr. Biden to share a stage with such a reprobate as Donald Trump, however the voting public sees through that obvious lie. What are the democRats to do?

Here is my scenario:

Towards the end of September it will be announced that Mr. Biden was exposed to the WuFlu and will have to remain in quarantine, or worse; Mr. Biden has contacted the virus and is putting up a valiant fight against the disease, which he will miraculously recover just before voting. Either way he will be able to avoid an embarrassing debacle for the democRats.

By the House of Representatives?

That would be funny if it was GOP controlled. They could make Trump Harris' VP!

Congress would approve a candidate selected by the President.

House or Senate?

IIRC it is the House.

Could Biden resign as President, then be appointed as brain-damaged Vice President? I mean, that's a job he's done before.

Did some research and the new President would choose. So if Biden gets elected we all know his presidency will have the shelf life of an open jar of mayonnaise in the summer sun. Ms. Harris would then become POTUS and would choose her own veep. It is only if the President and Vice President are both incapacitated or resign that the House chooses.

People keep saying Biden would be replaced shortly, but I have now given this thought and I don't believe it's the case.

I think the Democratic ticket represents a coalition between the traditional Democrats (the crooks) and the new Progressives (the anti-white racists and Marxists). If they were elected, what would happen is the same thing that happened after Obama was elected: the hopey-changey progressive left would get fucked over by the still-entrenched traditional corrupt-ass bribe taking corporate whore Democrats. Until the ratio of democrats in congress changes to where the crooks are outnumbered by the commies, this will remain the same.

So it will be just like last time, and after an initial fap-fest with celebration about how evrything gonna change and Kamal gonna put gas in my car, Democrats will go back into lamenting how nothing ever changes and the same motherfuckers who just spent four years as members of "The Resistance" will be bitching about how "obstructionist" Republicans are holding the country hostage like terrorists.

Same old same old. And the new batch of under-30-year-olds will be talking about how you don't understand, and this is a new situation and not business usual.
