Seems to be an appropriate first post on the subject for the new year.

Continued from Trump 2019.

Maybe Giuliani not is as stupid as we think,
but acting unscrupulously like a drug dealer,
who sells his customer a therapy just before death.

I would like to see Giuliani before Senate,
but you wouldn't see Trump as president afterwards.

There is a GOP conservative presidential candidate for 2020. But he as conservative politician has not a chance in the Republican Party of Trump. Defining temporary theft of 400 million dollars non criminal
the GOP in Senate are on their way to socialism. Judges by precedence might reverse:
"The president has to follow the same laws every citizen is obliged to." into:
"A citizen is allowed to borrow the property of a neighbour."

I think he's impersonating Trump. And judging by your reaction, succeeding.

While I respect many of your opinions, your understanding of US politics is worse than the shredded rat my daughter's cat has destroyed in my backyard.

Just saying:
When the senate judges non criminal the withhold of 400 million dollars for the purpose to corrupt the Ukraine government with the intent to influence a presidential election (this is temporary theft of tax payers money for to use that money against the tax payer), then such pictures of moms in handcuffs must end. They only borrowed housing - but not to use that against any one.

So you just flat out believe Adam Schiff's narrative. I miss the days of being as credulous as a six year old.

Wait, there are people out there who think this impeachment stuff is more than political theater? Wow.

I don't know if Adam Schiff is exaggerating, because I don't waste my time watching him for hours just saying what I know already.

Bolton:"This was a drug deal"
I will certainly watch Senate impeachment theatre when the defence is about to come with arguments. Although when they are stating there is no proof against Trump they should allow witnesses and I am turning the TV off.

But if Alan Dershowitz explains his view on impeachment this would be interesting for me. He will make the case impeachment was meant to be much harder than to fit in this case.
As of now I cannot think of a democracy to survive, when it is allowed for the government to take all the tax payers money to secure the re-election. I know of this being exactly the case what happens in many african countries. And I have heard the shooting of killing gangs that comes from that with my own ears 20y ago.

We're fine, we've had democracy for 244 years. The former West Germany's had it for a mere 75 years, and entirety of Germany has had it for a laughable 30 years. So best not to try and act all high and mighty

Muso. Democracy is a tricky thing. Hitler with his national socialists was elected in democratic polls. Same as Trump and Nixon.
What i am missing in democracy is a possibility of a rollback (something like rolling release governments). I really do not like the idea that elected government has a free pass to do anything during the next 4-5 years. Maybe the Swiss have something like this.

I thought NSDAP was under reprecented and it was more like a coupe de et tat. They had like 33% of voters when gaining power. Or so I've been told....

As I've heard, the Swiss actually have a mandatory voting system for just about everything.

On 23 March, the parliament passed the Enabling Act of 1933, which gave the cabinet the right to enact laws without the consent of parliament. In effect, this gave Hitler dictatorial powers.

Election of Nixon or Trump equals that of Hitler.

Decorum and forum rules prohibit me from candidly stating my opinion of the intelligence of anyone making such a comparison.

All of the mind reading that Schiff was doing. The ridiculous use of talking points like "scheme", his absolute sucking up to all of the bureaucrats who weren't doing their job of implementing the executive's policies and rather pretending like they could decide policy (they absolutely cannot). The idea that Ukraine didn't meddle in the 2016 elections (they absolutely did), the idea of looking into corruption in the Ukraine isn't legitimate (it is), Schiff literally inventing quotes from the president that Trump never said, the claim that members of Trump's team were in one country when they were in another, and trying to remove a president with two articles of impeachment that aren't even crimes. The most ridiculous one being that Trump blocking their requests through executive privilege... that's the norm, if they don't like it you go to court. They are trying to impeach Trump for literally following the law.

Your party is full of idiots.

I see, it’s the side drama you dont believe.

But you do believe that Trump withheld aid to Ukraine to try to get them to announce an investigation of his likely opponent in the next election?

I think it was likely that Trump wanted to see how the new Ukrainian government was before just giving them a shitload of our money. Anyone claiming otherwise is pretending to be a mind reader.

Also, the aid was released, on time. So there is no "there there". Nancy Pelosi let little Adam Schiff get his time on the big stage, and he shit his pants in front of the world. This entire impeachment sham is a disgrace to the nation, and may the democrats suffer greatly for dragging the country through it.
