|
|
Hi,
I want to have my laptop screen locked after waking up from suspend.
I am using i3lock and I used xss-lock a long time with arch linux. However, arch linux uses systemd and I am not using systemd with gentoo.
At the moment when I open the lid, the screen is not locked although I tried to use acpi events to start i3lock. Also xss-lock does not work. Any other ideas?
cheers

mikexx ...
see the acpi script, and discussion, provided here ... btw, by that account you may need a 'sleep {n}' after calling i3lock and before calling s2ram (at least this was the case for the poster, though they were using 'slock').
HTH & best ... khay |

Thank you. My mistake was to not look for the display before.
