Hi there,

it seems that you don't have any audio devices available, the message
Code:
I: [pulseaudio] alsa-util.c: Error opening PCM device hw:0: No such file or directory
I: [pulseaudio] alsa-util.c: Error opening PCM device front:0: No such file or directory
I: [pulseaudio] alsa-util.c: Error opening PCM device hw:0: No such file or directory
I: [pulseaudio] alsa-util.c: Error opening PCM device iec958:0: No such file or directory
I: [pulseaudio] alsa-util.c: Error opening PCM device hw:0: No such file or directory
I: [pulseaudio] alsa-util.c: Error opening PCM device front:0: No such file or directory
I: [pulseaudio] alsa-util.c: Error opening PCM device hw:0: No such file or directory
suggests that there is no device there or you don't have permission.

Basic idea: Make sure the kernel detects and brings up your audio.
Run
Code:
dmesg | grep -i snd_
and post your output please.
On a working system, you will get something resembling
Code:
[    0.278194] snd_hda_intel 0000:01:00.1: Disabling MSI
[    0.278220] usbcore: registered new interface driver snd-usb-audio
[    0.286951] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0: autoconfig for ALC887-VD: line_outs=1 (0x14/0x0/0x0/0x0/0x0) type:line
[    0.286953] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:    speaker_outs=0 (0x0/0x0/0x0/0x0/0x0)
[    0.286955] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:    hp_outs=1 (0x1b/0x0/0x0/0x0/0x0)
[    0.286956] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:    mono: mono_out=0x0
[    0.286958] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:    dig-out=0x11/0x0
[    0.286959] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:    inputs:
[    0.286961] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:      Front Mic=0x19
[    0.286963] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:      Rear Mic=0x18
[    0.286964] snd_hda_codec_realtek hdaudioC0D0:      Line=0x1a
this.

If you don't get any devices in that list, you will have to check your kernel config and enable the proper drivers for your audio chips.

Sure enough, to use the audio devices, your user must be in the "audio" group.
