|
|
[EDIT]: Using www-client/firefox-78.0.1-r1 & 'Empty cache when closing' & 'Cookie Autodelete' extension here...
I've inserted Reddit indicated 2 lines in uBlock Origin / Dashboard / My Filters, screen menu path translated, sorry.
Working for now...
Also gotta deny a painful 'Sign In' blocking popup @youtube to continue...
No solution found yet...
Thks 4 ur attention, interest & support.

Is there a fix for youtube ? I'm interested as well. Although frankly, I'm using more and more https://github.com/trizen/straw-viewer since youtube forced me to use their new and shiny "material ui", which takes 15seconds to load. (3second before when I was using the cookie trick to load the old UI) Brilliant, really, well done Google. |

How did you build yours?
Oh wait, just found Out of portage tree straw-viewer ebuild & installed it.
Build time WARNINGS here:
dev-perl/JSON[-xs]: Now activated here, no idea of the benefits?
dev-perl/LWP-UserAgent-Cached missing: Now installed, no idea of the benefits?
gtk2 USE flag installs but doesn't work here yet.
Moreover is borks the gtk part of the install.
Thus I'd advise not to activate it by now
USE)gtk should suffice for GUI afficionados.
Bye bye youtube-viewer...

As of now, can't select anymore from Tools once activated...
EDIT: New rules works here, but a bottom agreement banner remains, non blocking though. Also link doesn't open in current tab, but in a new tab only.
I can live with that.
Thks 4 ur attention, interest & support.

Also link doesn't open in current tab, but in a new tab only. | Keeping the previous set second rule works that out.

this is my umatrix setting: https://delta-labs.org/sp/Dlw
With this I get the popup but I can kilck it away. It will come everytime you visit unless you keep the session and or cookie. Or log in with an account. _________________ My personal space |
