I think the answer is straigthforward.
As a novice user I've been running gentoo on zfs for the past week or so and it was an essential tool to correct many mistakes I did that broke my system. Of course, there are other ways to achieve that, but I don't think any of them are as easy and quick as a zfs rollback. I can tinker - and learn - carefree.
What's your take on that matter? |

Not until ZFS gets into the mainline kernel. That's likely to be a long time as ZFS is not GPL-2.
I'm not sure what you mean by "Gentoo's standard liveusb"
There's the minimal CD intended for installing. Theres the adminCD, which is a bit bigger. _________________ Regards,
