My Favorite pouetchess https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Chess cannot emerge
I'm not very firm with chess. And with gentoo
You might take a look at the german forum
Now my Question
- it must have a 3D-Board
- it must save parties
- it must build own parties and play through
- it must use OpenSource ChessEngines ( silverlight, stockfish....additional Fritz!...or any other I don't know )
Please help
Edit: On Win10 a Fritz!17
Additional: Using Chessbases _________________ Now, you can breath. After emerge always reboot |

I am playing chess also, but I cant help you, because I use XBOARD with STOCKFISH (and xboard hasnt 3D). As far as I know only KNIGHTS (from KDE) has 3D, but I am not sure and cant tell you anything about knights (never tried). |

I can't help you with finding a new program, I usually use Lichess myself, but it looks like your failure to emerge the other package may be temporary. It looks like there was just a sytax error in the package it pulled down. I have a feeling the maintainer will take care of it. I don't Know German, though, so I don't know what they concluded in that thread. I will try to emerge it on my system when I get a chance. |
