Updating the @world set fails while installing any package. Says there is (no error message).

However, after
```
* Final size of build directory: (some amount of storage)
* Final size of installed tree: (some amount of storage)
```
There is a bunch of find commands outputting "Bad file descriptor" for everything in `/var/tmp/portage/dev-lang/python-exec-2.4.6-r1/image`
Tried both desktop and default profile.

Using Btrfs under a LUKS device on an SSD. Thought it was a problem with python-exec but masking the package had the exact same issue with the other package. I tried installing Gentoo on a HDD a few days ago and it worked.

Turns out it was because I used arch-chroot (using archiso) instead of manually typing in a few commands. I feel so dumb wasting all this time... I do believe though last time I used arch-chroot I updated with portage and it was fine. Anyways, for those thinking of using arch-chroot to save yourself a few key presses, please don't.
