Should I also post the output of emerge --info =dev-libs/libgpg-error-1.7?

It appears that dev-libs/libgpg-error failed to build. If you post an actual build error, we can try to offer more targeted advice.

Ryuzaki

Code:

emerge --info =dev-libs/libgpg-error-1.7

Hu asked you for a build error. You supplied an emerge info <package>
A build error is like

Yes. The error message makes plain a problem that was hinted at in your emerge --info, but is easy to miss without a detailed inspection. You have misspelled your optimization setting. Set optimizations with -O2, not -02. That is a capital o, not a numeric zero.

Oh my gosh, how did I miss that?? I even checked in my /etc/make.conf and the -02 was highlighted in red. >_<
Thank you so much I don't know how long it would have taken me to figure that out!
